Finance companies and Banks in Slovakia

1	National Bank of Slovakia \| HQ: Bratislava National Bank of Slovakia (Národná banka Slovenska, NBS), is the central bank of Slovakia. Since 1 January 2009, NBS has been part of the Eurosystem. In cooperation with the European Central Bank and central banks of the euro area countries it ensures stable monetary development and economic growth in the euro area.

2	Slovenska Sporitelna \| HQ: Bratislava Slovenská sporiteľňa, a member of the Erste Group, is the most important financial group in Slovakia. Bank offers a full range of financial products and services. The retail network of the bank consists of 300 branches and 10 commercial centers covering the entire territory of the Slovak Republic.

3	Tatra banka \| HQ: Bratislava Tatra banka is the Slovak subsidiary of Raiffeisen Bank International AG (RBI) and one of the most successful subsidiaries in CEE. It is a modern universal bank offering complex banking services and solutions in management of funds for both corporate and individual clients. Via its network of 153 business outlets, it operates in all regions of Slovakia and has approximately 3,400 employees.

4	ČSOB Slovakia \| HQ: Bratislava Československá obchodná banka, a.s. (ČSOB Slovakia) was created under direct control of KBC Bank. KBC Bank NV holds 100% minority is Slovak ČSOB.
