National Bank of Slovakia (Národná banka Slovenska, NBS), is the central bank of Slovakia. Since 1 January 2009, NBS has been part of the Eurosystem. In cooperation with the European Central Bank and central banks of the euro area countries it ensures stable monetary development and economic growth in the euro area.

Slovenská sporiteľňa, a member of the Erste Group, is the most important financial group in Slovakia. Bank offers a full range of financial products and services. The retail network of the bank consists of 300 branches and 10 commercial centers covering the entire territory of the Slovak Republic.
