    1. Bank of Cyprus

    Bank of Cyprus is a major Cypriot financial institution. In terms of market capitalisation it is the country's second largest company. The shares of the Bank are listed on the Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) and the Athens Stock Exchange.
    2. Emporiki Bank Cyprus

    Emporiki Bank Cyprus was established in Cyprus under the trading name of COMMERCIAL BANK OF GREECE (CYPRUS) LTD in 1993 and operated with five Branches. During this period, emphasis was given to the development of cooperation with enterprises and large organizations through the granting of loans and deposits. As of August 2006, EMPORIKI BANK GROUP is part of the Crédit Agricole Group, CASA, France.
    3. Hellenic Bank Ltd.

    The Hellenic Bank Group is one of the largest banking and financial institutions in Cyprus. The Group enjoys a network of over 70 branches in Cyprus and 27 in Greece, employing over 2.000 people locally and abroad. The Hellenic Bank also operates four Representative Offices, in Moscow and St Petersburg in the Russian Federation; in Kiev, Ukraine and in Johannesburg, Republic of South Africa.
    4. Laiki Bank

    Laiki Bank (formerly Cyprus Popular Bank) is the second largest bank on the island of Cyprus behind the Bank of Cyprus. Currently it holds a 14.98% share of the market in loans and a 19.2% share of deposits.
    5. Marfin Popular Bank

    Marfin Popular Bank, formerly Cyprus Popular Bank (a.k.a. Laiki Bank), is the second largest bank on the island of Cyprus behind the Bank of Cyprus. Its shares are listed on the Cyprus Stock Exchange and the Athens Stock Exchange. In 2006 the Greek company Marfin Financial Group acquired the Cyprus Popular Bank (Laiki Bank), which it re-branded as Marfin Popular Bank.
