Wall Street Finance and IBBL sign banking agreement
An agreement on Instant Cash Service was signed recently between Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) and Wall Street Finance L.L.C. of USA. The signing ceremony was held at the Head Office of Wall Street Finance L.L.C. in New York.
Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Deputy Executive President & Head of International Banking Wing of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited and Ekramul Hoque, Chief Executive of Wall Street Finance L.L.C. signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
After this arrangement, the recipients in Bangladesh will be able to receive the funds sent by expatriates in America from any fianch of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited instantly without opening any account with the bank. Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited has by now signed Instant Cash agreement with 26 Exchange Houses around the globe.
Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Deputy Executive President of the Bank was in USA to atend the Global "Leadership Development Program" organized by "International Center for Leadership Finance".
In his interview he focused on the role of the Bangladeshi expatriates in the economic development of the country and the significant contribution of Islami Bank in bringing the hard earned foreign currency of the expatriates into country through banking channel.
